Tiring "Beep" Test

My Heart is Pumping, and I’m shaking which makes me get the feeling that I’m really really... to say the least nervous about the Beep Test. The reason I’m feeling all shaky and all that is because, the Beep Test can be really tiring and more challenging. After getting ready, I'm starting to feel more pressure on me which makes me feel really uncertain.

When I suddenly heard the “BEEP” sound, I started running and I felt like I was staring off a bit slow and running to beat Jasmine who was trying to race me to the other side of the court, suddenly she bumped me into the person next to me. Starting the Beep Test made everyone in Room 18 look very uncomfortable.

While the other students trying to improve, I dropped out, because I felt puffed out and my calves were burning. When I dropped out on level 3, I was pretty disappointed because my goal was to pass level 5, ah well. I hope next year my class and I get the opportunity to do the Beep Test again. So a big thanks to Miss Vaafusuaga for letting us do the Beep Test.

The things that I liked about the tiring beep test is that, it’s really challenging because I “LOVE” playing sports that are tiring and heaps more challenging and it can be fun as well.

London Ceremony

The London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony took place at 9pm on 27 July 2012. The Olympic games were opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. The ceremony that was shown on television was pretty much awesome, and I "LOVED" it.

The things that I liked about the Ceremony, is that, it looked like their was party going on but “No.” No offence but I think that the opening ceremony was better than Queens birthday. “Sorry your Majesty,” just to be honest.

The thing that I can’t wait to see in the olympic games is... “BADMINTON!” The reason I can’t wait to watch the Badminton players play is because Badminton is a favourite sport of mine and I just love watching and playing Badminton. Also another thing that I can’t wait to see is Tennis players play, because again it’s a favourite sport of mine and I just “LOVE” Tennis.

Thanks to Tui for editing and checking if my writing makes sense, also thank you for checking my spelling, putting in interesting vocab and capital letters.

Olympic Is Our Motto

This term because of the Olympics, our topic is “Go For Gold!” Monday morning, Immersion Assembly was lots of fun with the teachers putting on a great show, to inspire and motivate the students. The movies and plays were informative and fun. Mrs George showed a filmed interview she did with two New Zealand Olympians, Dick Quax and Yvette Corlett who both gave the children inspirational messages about how they achieved the olympic medals. To succeed, Champions need to have the 3 D’s... Dedication, Determination and Desire.

The performance that were produced by the staff, really made me laugh alot, especially my most favourite one, team 5. The reason why team 5’s item was my most likes was because, it looked funny it and it looked interesting. Last of all I would like to give a thank you to the teachers for producing this to the school.

The things that I really looking forward to do is, creating more stuff, learn about the Olympics that will be held in london. I hope that our class gets the opportunity to practise how to do olympic games.

Participating in a few sports

This term, I’ll be thinking about participating in a few sports. The reason why I’m writing this to you is because, I’m looking forward to be joining in a few sports. I want to be fit and want to learn more about the sports that I've joined in.

The sport that I’m going to join in but the one thing is... Netball, Tennis, Volleyball, but the one sport that I will be joining in mostly is BASKETBALL!. The reason why I wanted to participate in basketball is because, it’s not really my type and I just want to see if I’m really good at it, so I’ll give it go.

Generally, I join in a sport that is not my type, because I just want to see if I’m really good at it and just wanting to see if I made it in. Sometimes when I participate in a sport that I really wasn't sure of, I follow what other people are doing. This reminds me for the first time of playing Netball. When I first played netball, I didn't know what to do, so I just followed what other people were doing.

Thanks to Tyler for reading my work and making sure that it makes sense. Thanks for telling me to go on and on to check if it makes sense before sharing it to someone. I also wanted to thank her for making sure that my spelling, capitals and full stops are in the right place.

The Inspiring Artwork

The Campfire
This artwork was inspired by the beautiful Oscar Claude Monet. The reason why I used Monet’s style in my artwork was because, his style had small brush strokes and beautiful bright colours. Also his paintings caught my attention and so I just used what he used. I think that my artwork will look like my favourite picture that I got offline, to me Oscar Claude Monet is the best artist that I’ve seen so far.

Life Time in Term 2

This term so far, I’ve had the opportunity to talk to people, introduce myself and being friends to people that I don’t know. I think that this term was better than last term. This term has been the best term “EVER”

The things that I’ve learned so far this term was, learning how to read and write, teach people how Cooperate with others and learn good stuff from them. In class, I think that I’ve learned pretty much something, like solving problems with people who are having a difficult time of doing something, helping them think what’s terrific for them.

I wonder what I’ll achieve next term in my writing, reading and maths. Here are my goals that I will want to achieve for next term. My goals are to listen to my teacher, do what he has told me to do, put my eyes on him when he says, “Eyes on me” and then we put our eyes on him without saying it.

The things that I like about this term is that, the class and I can play sports at Tamaki College, watch Pepa which is kind of like glee.

Favourite game of Netball

http://netballnutters.wikispaces.com/file/view/court%5B1%5D.gif/245342227/572x297/court%5B1%5D.gif
Hello and welcome to my blog. The reason why I’m writing this to you is because, I’m going to tell you about netball why would you want to read about netball well... I play netball. I play netball in Glen Innes for my school, at Morrin Road. I can play really well. Some day I get all the goals in and sometimes...Well lets just say  I can get really really tired and don’t play as good as I want.

The reason why I participated in netball was because, netball is my favourite sport and I just love playing netball. I LOVE netball and so will you, if you join in. I’m glad that I’m in “NETBALL!”.

My thoughts about netball is that it’s an awesome sport for everyone to play. This sport keeps us fit and strong. The rules of this game is pretty much simple. Like this rule number 1, no running with the ball while holding. Rule number 2, don’t bouncing the ball if you’re running after it before the ref blow the whistle and that’s when it’s the other team’s ball.

My position for every netball game is GS, GA. These position are  like GS, which means Goal shooter is an attacker and the position where somebody is shooting. Goal Attack is another position where someone is shooting but not inside the semicircle. They’re standing behind the line with their defender. I feel really happy about my position and thanks to my coach Timi.
