The Campfire
This artwork was inspired by the beautiful Oscar Claude Monet. The reason why I used Monet’s style in my artwork was because, his style had small brush strokes and beautiful bright colours. Also his paintings caught my attention and so I just used what he used. I think that my artwork will look like my favourite picture that I got offline, to me Oscar Claude Monet is the best artist that I’ve seen so far.

Life Time in Term 2
This term so far, I’ve had the opportunity to talk to people, introduce myself and being friends to people that I don’t know. I think that this term was better than last term. This term has been the best term “EVER”
The things that I’ve learned so far this term was, learning how to read and write, teach people how Cooperate with others and learn good stuff from them. In class, I think that I’ve learned pretty much something, like solving problems with people who are having a difficult time of doing something, helping them think what’s terrific for them.
I wonder what I’ll achieve next term in my writing, reading and maths. Here are my goals that I will want to achieve for next term. My goals are to listen to my teacher, do what he has told me to do, put my eyes on him when he says, “Eyes on me” and then we put our eyes on him without saying it.
The things that I like about this term is that, the class and I can play sports at Tamaki College, watch Pepa which is kind of like glee.

Favourite game of Netball
Hello and welcome to my blog. The reason why I’m writing this to you is because, I’m going to tell you about netball why would you want to read about netball well... I play netball. I play netball in Glen Innes for my school, at Morrin Road. I can play really well. Some day I get all the goals in and sometimes...Well lets just say I can get really really tired and don’t play as good as I want.
The reason why I participated in netball was because, netball is my favourite sport and I just love playing netball. I LOVE netball and so will you, if you join in. I’m glad that I’m in “NETBALL!”.
My thoughts about netball is that it’s an awesome sport for everyone to play. This sport keeps us fit and strong. The rules of this game is pretty much simple. Like this rule number 1, no running with the ball while holding. Rule number 2, don’t bouncing the ball if you’re running after it before the ref blow the whistle and that’s when it’s the other team’s ball.
My position for every netball game is GS, GA. These position are like GS, which means Goal shooter is an attacker and the position where somebody is shooting. Goal Attack is another position where someone is shooting but not inside the semicircle. They’re standing behind the line with their defender. I feel really happy about my position and thanks to my coach Timi.

My Favourite Place in and around the World
Our class, Room 18, has been given the opportunity to find out what our favourite place is. For some students in my class, they were struggling to find out what their special place was. I think that, this place is one of my most favourite place around the whole world, it’s the “BEACH!”
The reason why I chose this picture was because, one of the reasons, I can campfire with my family and friends on the sand, swim in the sea and last, just have a sleep. I love camping on a beautiful warm day at the beach. Out of all the places in the world, I think that the beach is the best. The beach can be relaxing too.
The things that I like about my picture is, I can spend time with my friends and my family and have alot of enjoyable time together. I love hanging out in the beach.
Thanks to Tyler and Jasmine for editing my writing for this week and just checking if my writing makes sense. You sure have been going over and over are few times on my writing and telling me where I need to put those punctuation and grammar in the right place. Thanks alot.

Reflective Writing T2
The Tale of Despereaux!
This year for term 2, our class has been given a novel to study and to try to read difficult and extended text. For my reading group, The Gates, the novel that we’re reading is called “The Tale of Despereaux.” “Can you guess what Despereaux means? Well if not, it can mean desperate or despair. Also it’s a french word.
This novel is about a little tiny mouse, who has got huge crazy ears. At first, this mouse who is named Despereaux, ran to a hole and from there, he looked out to see a Princess named Princess Pea. Despereaux was reading a story, and when he stopped at a sentence, that caught his attention, he was deeply falling in love with the Princess that he saw. When Princess Pea saw Despereaux and as she picked up his handkerchief she was looking at him directly into his soul.
For me, my feelings about reading my own group novel, is that it challenges us to think about the great vocabulary that we’re reading. Also it gives us the chance to wonder things as we read, for me it was time to vote, I would honestly give it a thumbs up.
What I’m looking forward to continue reading on this journey, is having to read other novels that can caught my attention and that has got interesting vocabulary for me to use in my writing. I think that this novel is the definitely is the best. For some reasons that I think that this novel is the best is because it’s sounds funny and it’s got great vocabulary.
My thoughts about this story, is that I think I’ll certainly give it a thumbs up. I hope that our class comes into a possession to get the opportunity to read more novels after because I really love reading stories.
If you are connecting to this story, why not reading it. This story is awesome and trust me, you will LOVE IT ! I hope that you have had the opportunity to read my story about “The Tale of Despereaux”
Please give me some feedback about my writing that I wrote. (Likes or Dislikes)
